If you've ever wondered if it is possible to parent your strong-willed, sensitive, and spirited kiddo without punishments, yelling, escalating consequences, and harsh reactions, this workshop is for you! We'll do a deep dive on the brain science behind strong-willed and sensitive children, and help you understand why traditional parenting methods seem to wind up in power struggles and frustration.
This is a collaborative workshop with Lydia Rex of Connected Families and Amanda Erickson of Flourishing Homes and Families. Together they'll share real-life stories from the home front of parenting spirited children themselves, and encourage and equip you to guide and coach your own sensitive and strong children with grace, gentleness, and confidence.
THIS WORKSHOP WILL:
- Invite you to shift your perspective from seeing your child's sensitivity or strong-willed nature as a challenge or a weakness, to recognizing their inherent strengths and assets.
- Help you understand the neuroscience behind power struggles and create a plan to bring peace and healing into conflict.
- Help you move from being indecisive and inconsistent with your parenting to having simple and effective strategies you can start to use right away
- Encourage and uplift you to welcome and nurture your child's strengths and strong needs.
